CA Weekly Market Report

What you are looking at below are charts and numbers derived from the South Tahoe Association Of Realtors Multiple Listing Service for Single Family Homes only.  The reason that I use this segment of the market is that it has the most influence on the general value trends.
After a 4 week increase in buyer market activity, it plateaued but last week it took another jump.  The Active Listings increased  by 3 and the Pending Sales increase by a big 8 which equates to a Market Activity Ratio of a whopping 17%.  The number of completed trasactions for YTD is up by 2 for a total of 105.  The Median Price is 319,000, Average Sale Price is $389,135 and Days On Market (DOM) 173.  The Median remains the same since last week but the Average Sale did increase slightly by a variance of .001%.  The buyers are heating up the market like we haven’t seen in a few years.
